This Traditional Roast is simply a great tasting coffee. It is always full-bodied and never bitter. It's hard to quit with just one pot.

My husband and I have been buying Gevalia Traditional Roast whole bean for about 10 years and, though we've tried other coffees, Gevalia Traditional Roast is still our favorite. We used to be on the automatic shipment program but when it became available in our grocery store we stopped the mail order program and began buying it in the store - it's the same coffee and now, we just pick it up when we doing our other shopping and often get it on special. We're Traditional Roast drinkers for life!

There isn't a better coffee anywhere else. I've used this for years. Guests love it and I highly recommend it to them. I just wish my local supermarket (Safeway) carried it decaf, but they only carried the regular caffeinated.

This is the blend that switched me from the green mermaid habit. At the first sip, I had that "A-ha!" discovery moment. A noticeably better flavor and smoothness than the coffee I had been drinking. I'm a new fan, already a subscriber. Have yet to try teh other Gevalia blends, but looking forward to it. Go Johan!

I have used the Traditional blend for many many years and use it alone or mix it with other Gevalia flavors (i.e.cinnamon , hazelnut or pumpkin). I can't say enough about how fresh it stays in your freezer, that is if it lasts that long. I have given this with a flavored coffee to good friends who also love it and consider it a treat!

I have been drinking Gevalia's Traditional Coffee since I was 2 years old. (yes, 2 years old. with a lot of milk in it)
So I have been drinking it for 53 years.
When I first came to California, I had my Mom send me coffee from Sweden once a month. I was so happy when I could order it on-line. If I ever run out of Gevalia, I rather be without coffee than to drink some other brand.
I will drink this coffee to the day I die.

When you see a commercial for other name brand coffees on tv, they're waking up to a good smelling coffee in the morning and the person takes that first delectable sip and it's got you craving a cup so badly and all the emotions that go with it. This coffee fulfills that experience perfectly!

I love to come down stairs and have my coffee maker already brewing the traditional roast coffee and the aroma is wonderful I have stand and smell the coffee before I can go on with my day it is such a great wake me up that I can not do without it.

I only drink coffee on special occasions, or on days I have important business meetings or exams. However, Traditional Roast is by far the best coffee I have ever tasted. I very much like the smooth taste and aroma. I am always in a better mood when I drink this.

Traditional roast Gevalia has a one-of-a-kind taste making it unique among the many other competitors. We have tried many other coffee brands. None of them have th strong, great taste, We attribute part of this to the very fne grind of the beans and the uniques beans themselves.

This used to be one of my favorites, but something has changed. My last several boxes (I order online) have been of poorer quality. The beans are not uniform (some light, some darker) and the taste is more bland than it used to be. It still is smooth and not bitter, but I wonder what has happened. The other Gevalia coffees I order are still flavorful and wonderful.

I bought this coffee today at the supermarket, as I had tried the Stockholm Roast before and liked it very much. I enjoy a good flavorful cup of coffee, and sorry to say this was far, far too bland. I don't like dark roast, just full-bodied flavor, and I can't imagine trying this again. Sorry---a waste of money.

I have been getting this roast for so long now. I have purchased many brands of coffee but this is my absolute favorite. I have told so may people about this coffee in the coffee isle of the supermarket. The flavor is smooth, aroma is full and I have served this coffee to MANY friends and family and they've all loved it. I will not have another brand in my cupboard...and yes, I have an entire cupboard devoted to Gevalia!

gosh i have been using this coffee for decades and i have always had the exact flavor EVERY time...this stuff needs to be injected for those that need a shot of the "happy times"
i have used other coffees from these folks different lines' although fabs too the traiditional always brings be home. been using this sensational coffee sinc the seventies and it wows me EVERY cup!!!!

I am not surprised there are those who find this coffee lacking in flavor. After all, the coffee available in the supermarkets lately seems to me to be offered in three basic categories, dark, burnt and charcoal; yes that's right, we've all been clobbered by a certain mermaid. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my latte's as much as the next person; when I'm out and about that is. But at home I prefer a nice cup of traditional coffee flavor with a meal or just for coffee time. I find this particular roast so perfect, I have to remind myself not to over-consume. After all, we all need to sleep once in a while.

I tried it for the first time today. I first noticed a chemical taste to the coffee. Since I drink coffee all day the taste is very important to me. I will not be buying this product again.

When a coffee maker brews too hot; the taste of the coffee is distorted. In other words the coffee burns and that adds to the taste of the coffee. Normally the result is better tasting coffee for any brand of coffee.
