I have tried nearly every coffee that Gevalia has to offer, and, hands down, Royal Vinter is THE best overall coffee. Great for breakfast, after dinner, as a dessert coffee, or anytime. Caffeine is mild enough I can enjoy a cup even 2 hours before bedtime. I can't say that about any other full-strength coffee. The price is truly worth it!!!

We love our Royal Vinter. We take the ground in our motorhome and drink it every morning. It is a very pleasing coffee when we are on vacation or at home enjoying each other.

In previous years, I always purchased Royal Vinter when it was available in the winter. I was very excited when it became a regular item that is available year round! The rich, warm flavor always pleases me. The flavor is always consistent. I cannot imagine buying any other coffee!

This coffee has a great bold flavor with a smooth natural taste. It is hard to find a nice strong coffee without a bitter flavor but this one does just that.

Every holiday for the past six or seven years we look forward to our delivery of Royal Vinter. Now it's available all year long, so we have changed our auto delivery to get only this flavor in year round deliveries. We love it, and our guests love it. Happy to know we can purchase it all year now.

i had to check the website to see if this was a dark roast because when i opened the coffee it looked very light.taste was just average not very good.

This coffee has a weird artificial like floral aftertaste that is a little hard to describe, Its almost like a slight incense flavor that definitely stands out.

After finding Royal Vintar, I drink it all day, which makes my taste buds very happy: real coffee flavor. The aroma makes it hard to wait for the unique taste.

I ordered this based on other reviews and I was not as impressed as others. It's just a good average coffee to me. I love a real unique, rich, hearty, smooth flavor and this was just common. Plus it was a little more money than the others I purchased so I expected more. Gevalia has many more that are a lot better. I don't recommend this but I would still say It's worth a try.

I was very disappointed. This is NOT a bold dark coffee. The French Roast is a bold dark coffee, NOT Royal Vinter. It is weak and insipid. It doesn't even LOOK dark.

I started getting this coffee when it was offered during the holidays, and was disappointed that I couldn't get it all year. Now I can, so I will. It's a dark roast, with perfect flavor, never too strong. Full bodied, never bitter. I give it to guests when I have them over and they always love it. I'm so glad that it's now available more often, although I did enjoy the anticipation of receiving it during the holidays!

This coffee is very rich and full flavored, wonderful blend! I've tried Stockholm Roast and Velvet Noir but this is hands down my favorite one.

I first encountered Royal Vinter about 15 years ago when I sent out several as Christmas gifts and got such tremendous responses that I had to try it myself. At the time, it was only available suring the holiday season so I had to wait to order it.
It was worth every second of the wait! This is a full-flavored, medium to heavy-bodied coffee with a great aroma and a clean, lingering finish. If you like coffee (even a little) you will LOVE Royal Vinter!

I've been drinking gevalia & ordering for over 25 years .Nothing comes close to the creamy sip,the dense flavor s without bitterness .my guilty pleasure that Im NOT guilty over lol !!!

First tried this coffee several years ago when it was featured only as a "holiday" blend. Was quite disappointed when it was not available year-round, but delighted to find that it can now be ordered on a regular basis over the full course of a year. It's a brew that always elicits many favorable comments from guests whenever I serve it. It's my Sunday morning "splurge" as well. Definitely one of the best coffees around!
